Temporary Disability and Permanent Disability Benefits

Temporary Disability benefits
During the period of time that an injured worker is temporarily unable to return to work due to his/her work related injury, he or she may be entitled to receive temporary disability indemnity benefits.  Temporary disability payment benefits have a minimum and maximum amount of funds that can be dispersed.  The amount that will be dispersed will depend on the amount of your average weekly wages as well as the date of your injury.
Permanent Disability benefits
In majority of Workers Compensation cases, our firm is able to obtain a monetary (money) award for injured workers.  These settlement awards are an addition benefit to the medical treatment and temporary disability payment benefits that our injured workers often receive for their work injuries.  The amount of the permanent disability award that will be dispersed will vary depending upon the severity of your injury, job occupation, age and the lasting effect of your injury and other disability factors.
